Michael Andrews was promoted to Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Services at Long Beach State in 2025 after joining the department in 2022 as Athletics Administrative Coordinator. In his current role, he leads efforts that enhance the student-athlete journey from recruitment to graduation, ensuring every Beach athlete experiences a smooth transition into life at Long Beach State.
Andrews oversees key areas such as admissions, initial eligibility, housing, and international student-athlete support, serving as a central connector between Athletics and vital campus partners. His work helps create a cohesive, student-focused support network that empowers student-athletes to thrive both on and off their field of competition.Â
A graduate of Biola University, Andrews earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
