Luke Hansard was hired in 2024 as an Assistant Director of Facilities, Operations and Event Management at Long Beach State. Hansard assists with day-to-day facility operations, event setup and breakdown, and game management across all athletics venues.
Hansard brings direct experience from his time as a student at Long Beach State, where he graduated in 2023 with a degree in psychology. He served as a team manager for the baseball program for four years, handling daily team operations and logistics. In addition, Hansard worked on the Blair Field grounds staff for one year, supporting field maintenance and preparation for practices and games.
