Huntyr Ford joined Long Beach State in March of 2025, working in the Bickerstaff Athletics Center as the evening study hall monitor, managing tutoring, peer mentoring and academic support assistance outside of regular business hours.

Ford came to Long Beach State after serving in a similar role at UCLA as an Academic Mentor, and also works as a substitute teacher in the Long Beach Unified school district.
