Weaver was a star on some of Long Beach State's finest teams, advancing to three final fours in her career and winning a national championship as part of the 1998 women's volleyball team.

A three-time first-team All-American, Weaver was named the Big West Player of the Year in both 2000 and 2001, and led the 49ers to a 33-match winning streak on the way to the 2001 national championship match.

Weaver finished her career with 1,589 career kills, and ended her career with a hitting percentage of .386. She finished the 2000 season with 546 kills, the eight-most in a single season at Long Beach State, and her .429 hitting in 2001 is the fourth-highest in school history.
