Water Polo Prepares For First Home Games Of The Season

Long Beach, Calif. -- No. 15 Long Beach State will be at Lindgren Aquatic Center for two matches this weekend when they take on No. 16 UC Santa Barbara and George Washington.

On Saturday, LBSU (6-9) will open Big West play against UCSB at noon. The Beach took on the Gauchos (12-8)at the Triton Invitational in February.

UCSB comes into the contest on a 2-game win streak after picking up wins against Redlands and Pomona-Pitzer.

The Gauchos are led by Sarah Snyder who has scored 34 goals on the year.

Following Saturday's contest, LBSU will be back in action against George Washington on Sunday at noon.

George Washington (5-4) is currently on a 2-game losing streak after dropping contests against Wagner and Princeton at the Princeton Invitational.

Following LBSU's contest against George Washington, the Beach will welcome back past players for LBSU Alumni Game.
