Davis, Calif. - Coriann Snyder scored four goals as part of a five-goal push that put away the Tigers as Long Beach State finished the Big West Tournament with a 9-3 win over Pacific.

Long Beach State struck first as Melissa Matheson scored on a penalty shot to give the 48ers a lead, and after Pacific evened the score with a late tally to end the first quarter, Snyder took over the match for the 49ers.

Chelsea Parks scored after just over a minute gone in the second quarter to give the 49ers a lead, then Snyder scored three of the next four 49er goals as Long Beach State opened up a 6-1 lead over the Tigers. From there, the 49ers held on to take the 9-3 win behind 10 saves by sophomore goaltender Kelly Ringel.

Ringel's ten saves gives her 265 in her first season as a starter, the second-most saves in one season at Long Beach State.

With the win, the 49ers finish with an overall record of 12-17 in 2012.
