April 20, 2017

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State played host to No. 6 UC Irvine it its final home, conference and regular season game of 2017. In front of a raucous crowd of 346 on LBSU’s Senior Night, the Anteaters used a strong first half and lockdown defense to edge the Beach 6-3.

UCI was in full control in the first half. The Anteaters scored once in the first period and three times in the second while holding Long Beach State scoreless to take a 4-0 lead into the break.
