LONG BEACH, Calif. - The six seniors of the Long Beach State women's water polo team were celebrated with a 9-5 win over visiting UC Santa Barbara on Sunday. The seniors accounted for seven of LBSU's goals with Coriann Snyder scoring a hat trick in the win.

Snyder scored with just seconds left in the first quarter and again just over a minute in the second quarter to give Long Beach State a 3-1 lead. The Beach never looked back as it would lead by multiple goals the rest of the way.

Christina Kotsia added to the lead with a 6-on-5 goal in the second quarter and Long Beach State took a 4-2 lead into halftime. UCSB snuck in a goal with just 12 second left in the half.

The 49ers padded their lead in the third with a four-goal outburst that included a pair of goals from senior Chelsea Parks.  UCSB scored twice in the quarter but couldn't pace as the Beach sprinted out to a 8-4 lead heading into the final quarter.

Kelly Ringel made four of her seven saves in the final quarter although UCSB snuck one goal in as Long Beach State held on for the win. Hillary Veselik scored the final of her two goals in the fourth quarter to cap off the scoring and give the Beach the 9-5 win.
