Parks, Morgan Score Twice But 49ers Fall At CSUN
The Beach scored four times in the third but couldn't erase the early deficit.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – The No. 11 Long Beach State women’s water polo team fell 11-7 in a trip to No. 8 Cal State Northridge on Saturday. Justine Morgan and Chelsea Parks each scored for the Beach (17-9, 1-2 Big West).
Parks was the first to score just two minutes into the game but the lead was short lived as CSUN (22-6, 3-0 Big West) scored the next six goals to take command of the game. Katie Krammer scored two of CSUN’s four goals in the second quarter and Jenny Jamison scored another as both went on to record hat tricks in the match.
LBSU put up four goals of its own in the third after a scoreless second. Parks scored first and was followed by Christian Kotsia to pull within 6-3. However, Jamison responded with her second and third goals of the match and the lead went back to four goals going into the fourth.
The teams traded goals in the fourth as CSUN held on for the win.
Long Beach State returns home tomorrow for Senior Sunday when the 49ers host UC Santa Barbara at 1 p.m.
