Game 1: #9 Long Beach State 15 - Azusa Pacific 3
Long Beach State held Azusa Pacific scoreless for 18 minutes and 30 seconds on its way to a 15-3 victory over the Cougars Saturday morning. The 49ers were led by Kayla Robert who recorded her first-career hat-trick with a goal at 3:01 in the fourth.

APU put another point on the board to give Slama her second of the morning but Alex Wheeler with a power-play goal at 6:06 for her first collegiate goal. The Cougars would score once more but LBSU answered with another pair of goals. Freshman Cori Reynolds got her first chance of playing this year and took full advantage of it scoring on her first shot with 39 seconds remaining in the game to record her first-career goal.
Ringel finished the game with a solid 10 saves in the cage.

The host Cal Lutheran scored two more times in the third quarter on penalty shots but was just not enough as Long Beach State finished the game with a 7-0 run capped off by first collegiate goals from Abigail Oshiro and Sydney Stephenson.
