Beach Water Polo Falls To Hawai'i in Big West Semifinals

LBSU will now play for third place against UC Irvine tomorrow.

Long Beach State (2017): Played in all 30 games during her junior campaign……was second on the team with 42 goals scored and a 1.40 goals per game average……received Big West Player of the Week accolades once……voted to the All-Big West Second Team.

Long Beach State (2016): Led the team in scoring during her second year at the Beach with a career-high 45 goals in the season … played all 29 matches for the Beach … scored in 26 of Long Beach State’s 29 matches, netting multiple goals in 13 of the 26 games … Grabbed a career-high 5 goals in the Beach’s 20-5 home-opening win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (2/7) … went on a 10-game scoring streak during the middle of the season … finished the year leading the team in scoring during the Big West Tournament with 3 goals, one against No. 8 Hawai’i (4/30) and a pair against No. 7 UC Irvine (5/1)… ended the season as the eighth leading scorer in the Big West Conference … became the first sophomore in program history to be named to the first-team All-Big West, since joining the conference in 2009 … was one of two sophomores in the Big West Conference to be named to the first-team this season.

Long Beach State (2015): Emerged as the third leading scorer on the team with 25 goals in her freshman year … scored in 18 matches throughout the season … had six multi-scoring games where she scored a pair of goals in five games, and a hat trick in the other … scored in the first five games of the season, two matches with multiple goals … led the team with two goals in the first match of the year against California … also added a career-high three goals in the Beach’s tight 6-5 win over Michigan in the Triton Invitational … Ended the year with two goals in LBSU’s final match against UC Santa Barbara in the Big West Tournament.

High School: Four-year top athlete … 2012-14 MVP for Fraser Valley Water Polo Club … 2012-14 Fraser Valley Water Polo team captain … participated on the youth Canadian National Team for three years … silver medalist and team captain at the Pan Am games in Argentina … silver medalist at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland.
