02/11/2012 Women's Water Polo splits two matches in first day at Triton InvitationalLong Beach State returns to action at Noon tomorrow. 01/31/2012 No. 16 Women's Water Polo opens 2012 season Saturday against No. 8 San Diego StateThe 49ers open the season in the Campus Pool at Noon. Long Beach State (2011): Returned to action in 2011 with eight goals for the 49ers ... Scored in eight different games ... Tied for eighth on the team in goals scored. Long Beach State (2010): Used a medical redshirt in 2010. (2009): Scored double-digit goals in her freshman year with 13 ... scored her first collegiate goal against UC San Diego (2/8) ... scored in three consecutive games in Big West play against UC Davis, CS Northridge and UC Irvine (4/5, 4/11, 4/16). High School: A four-year letterwinner at Wilson High School in Long Beach ... earned honorable mention All-America honors ... helped lead the team to three league championships as well as a CIF semifinal appearance as a senior ... named all-league as a junior and senior and all-state as a senior ... led the Bruins in assists, steals and ejections drawn ... four-year scholar athlete.
