The No. 12 Long Beach State women's water polo team extended its winning streak to eight games with another pair of big wins at the Claremont Covergence. The Beach out scored its opponents 41-9 over the two games with a 20-4 win over Chapman and a 21-5 win over Whittier.
The hot streak continued for the 12th-ranked Long Beach State women's water polo team on Friday with a pair of victories at the Claremont Convergence. LBSU (12-6) downed Azusa Pacific 12-3 to open the tournament before defeating Pomona-Pitzer 16-6.
Long Beach State will take on its final tournament schedule of the year this weekend at the Claremont Convergence. LBSU's four games in two days will feature matchups with Azusa Pacific, Pomona-Pitzer, Chapman and Whittier. It will mark the fourth weekend for the Beach this season in playing four games in two days. With the conference schedule less than a month away, the schedule will begin to slow down for Long Beach State.
