Long Beach, Calif. - The Long Beach State women's volleyball Alumni Match, scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, has changed venues and will now be held within the team's usual home the Walter Pyramid.
The previously planned floor restoration of the Walter Pyramid has finished early, allowing the team to move venues to the larger and air-conditioned Walter Pyramid. Parking for the event will be moved into Lot 13, the usual lot, and all other services will be provided at the Walter Pyramid.
Long Beach State will honor the 1993 women's volleyball team as part of the match, including five-time Olympian Danielle Scott-Arruda, who will participate with the Alumni Team against the 2013 49ers in the exhibition match. Tickets are available through the Walter Pyramid Box Office at (562) 985-4949.
