Join 49er Silver Medalists Danielle Scott-Arruda and Tayyiba Haneef-Park for a celebration on Monday, August 13

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State is welcoming the public to a celebration of former 49ers Danielle Scott-Arruda and Tayyiba Haneef-Park on Monday, August 13, as the duo returns from their Medal Round run in London with Team USA. The event will be held at 7 p.m. at Murphy's Pub on Second Street in Long Beach. Scott-Arruda is in the midst of an unprecedented fifth Olympic Games with the women's volleyball team for Team USA, a 20-year run as one of the top volleyball players in the nation. Haneef-Park is also a returning member of Team USA, participating in her third Olympic games in London. Team USA matched their 2008 finish in Beijing, as the team won a second straight Silver Medal in London.
