Made 145 block assists, one less than the single-season school record as a true freshman ... Also ranked ninth in school history with 37 solo blocks in 2010 ... Ranked third in the Big West with a .357 hitting percentage on the year ... Was third on the 49ers with 339 kills on the season, averaging 2.95 per set ... Had three double-doubles on the season in kills an blocks ... Made the first with a career-high 21 kills and 12 blocks in a win over No. 25 St. Mary's ... Hit .517 with a team-high 18 kills in an upset win over No. 14 Colorado State ...Named the Co-Big West Player of the Week for that performance ... Hit .478 with 11 kills in the NCAA Tournament against San Diego ... Started for the USA Junior National Team over the summer. Huntington Beach High School: Led the Oilers to a league championship while lettering in volleyball ... Also a two-year letterwinner in water polo ... A three-time All-Seaview League selection in volleyball ... An All-Orange County pick in 2008 and 2009 ... A first-team All-CIF selection as a senior ... A member of the junior national team for the USA ... Earned a gold medal in the 2010 NORCECA championships with Team USA ... Named to the All-Tournament Team at the championships ... Earned the "Best Blocker" award as well ... Also an All-Tournament Team member with Cal Juniors at the Junior Olympic club competition ... An honors graduate from HBHS.
