Long Beach State (2010): Played in 67 sets, primarily as a serving specialist ... Started in two matches ...Scored 16 service aces on the season, second-most on the team ... Averaged 0.24 aces per set, the highest rate on the team ... Made 41 digs on the year ... Made four aces in the team's opener against Rutgers, a career high ... Had nine aces through the first three matches of the year ... Set a season high with seven digs against St. Mary's ... Had two aces against Middle Tennessee State. (2009): Played in 112 sets during the year, playing all but one match as a true freshman ... Made 177 digs, fifth on the team ... Finished the year with a 1.58 dig per set average ... Had 160 service receptions, fourth on the team ... Also added 15 back-row kills and had 10 assists in 2009 ... Finished with more than 10 digs four times on the year ... Started the season with five digs against San Diego ... Made 30 digs over three matches at the Sugar Bowl Classic in New Orleans ... Topped 10 digs for the first time with 12 at Tulane ... Santiago High School: A two-sport letterwinner at Santiago in soccer and volleyball ... A three-year letterwinner in soccer, earning first-team all-league honors as a senior ...
