Senior outside hitter Caitlin Ledoux and sophomore middle blocker Haleigh Hampton were both named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-America team as announced today.

Senior Caitlin Ledoux and sophomore Haleigh Hampton were both named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-West Region Team, as announced by the AVCA on Tuesday. The pair were two of 14 players honored from the Big West, Mountain West, and WAC conferences.
49ers, Hampton set blocking records but Long Beach State falls to San Diego in NCAA Tournament

Long Beach State tied a season-high with 18 total blocks, including 11 from Haleigh Hampton, but the 49ers were unable to withstand a huge night from Chloe Ferrari of San Diego, who had 18 kills on .424 hitting as the No. 20 Toreros defeated No. 23 Long Beach State 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-21 in the only matchup between ranked teams in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
No. 23 Long Beach State begins postseason jouney Friday night

Long Beach State will start its 25th straight postseason on Friday night, playing against San Diego in Los Angeles at 5:30 p.m. as the 49ers start their run in search of a fourth NCAA championship.
