Long Beach, Calif. - Due to potential weather problems on Saturday, the 49er women's tennis match with UC Davis has been moved up to 9:30 a.m.

With rains forecasted for the afternoon, the teams agreed to start at 9:30 a.m., and will also play singles before doubles in an attempt to get the match in. The 49ers already were forced to reschedule one Big West contest this season, a Feb. 5 date with Cal State Fullerton.

Tennis matches can be called once a match has been decided with four matches won, thus the decision to start with singles play in case of inclement weather.
