San Diego, Calif. - Long Beach State senior Anais Dallara's time at the ITA Regionals finally came to a close, as the 12-seeded Dallara lost in the semifinals to USC's Zoe Scandalis 6-1, 7-5.

Dallara ends the fall with four victories over ranked opponents and will surely be ranked in the next cycle announced by the ITA. She finishes the tournament season with a 10-4 overall record in singles, with her only losses coming to three ranked opponents and Scandalis, a freshman for the Trojans who will also be ranked highly, and defeated her teammate #14 Danielle Lao in the quarterfinals at the ITA Regionals.

With the loss, Long Beach State's fall women's tennis schedule comes to a close. The 49ers will kick off the team dual match portion of the schedule by hosting the Beach Tennis Winter Invitational at the Rhodes Tennis Center in January.
