Beach Tennis takes the first step in postseason with easy 4-0 win over Cal State Fullerton
No. 43 Long Beach State dominates the Titans on the way to the semifinals.

Indian Wells, Calif. - No. 43 Long Beach State advanced to the semifinals of the Big West Tournament on Friday, defeating Cal State Fullerton 4-0.
Sarah Cantlay and Julie Luzar started off the match with a sweep of Malorie De La Cruz and Avriel Tomaiko at No. 3 doubles, while Anais Dallara and Klaudia Malenovska finished the point with an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
In singles, Rachel Manasse did not drop a game against Morgan McIntosh 6-0, 6-0, while Malenovska defeated Kalika Slevcove 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles to bring the 49ers within a point of taking the match. #101 Dallara then finished off play for the day, defeating Tiffany Mai 6-2, 6-1 to clinch the match.
In postseason play, matches only continue until the team points and match are settled, thus allowing for two wins in doubles and three wins for Long Beach State on Friday morning. The 49ers will face the winner of Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
