Senior Klaudia Malenovska won both her matches on Saturday to help the 49ers remain undefeated at home and win their sixth consecutive match.

No. 41 Long Beach State didn't allow a point at it won its sixth consecutive match with a 7-0 victory over Cal State Northridge Saturday at the Rhodes Tennis Center.
The 49ers (14-3, 5-1 Big West) remained unbeaten when playing at home and started off strong, sweeping CSUN (9-7, 3-3 Big West) in doubles play. Ebba Unden competed with Klaudia Malenovska at the No. 1 spot and earned an 8-5 win over Anna Yang and Sabrina Man-Son-Hing. Sarah Cantlay and Anne-Sophie Willems won by the same score over Maria Pistalu and Lorraine Cheung. Anna Jeczmionka and Hazuki Onaga completed the sweep with their 8-2 victory over Jessica Warren and Corinne Schnyder.
LBSU didn't let up going into singles play, winning at all six spots. Ebba Unden defeated Maria Pistalu 6-1, 6-1 while Klaudia Malenovska picked up a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Anna Yang at the top two spots. Sarah Cantlay won 6-2, 6-2 over Sabrina Man-Son-Hing and Anna Jeczmionka beat Lorraine Cheung 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 4 spot. Anne-Sophie Willems blanked Jessica Warren 6-0, 6-0 and Hazuki Onaga won 7-7, 6-7 (3), 11-9 over Alexis Marquez.
The victory is number 14 on the year for the 49ers, who remained undefeated (10-0) when playing at home this season. The last time LBSU lost was on March 2 at UC Irvine. Long Beach State will travel to northern California next week for a difficult stretch of three matches in three days beginning at Sacramento State on Thursday and then traveling to UC Davis on Friday and finishing up the trip at Pacific on Saturday. Following that, the 49ers will return home for their regular season finale against Cal Poly on April 13.
