2007-08: One of two freshmen to join the team during the spring the semester, joining Stephanie Jeanes... the freshman went 14-7 overall, almost entirely at the No. 6 position (13-7)... teammed with Deborah Armstrong in the spring and ran off a 19-5 record in doubles at the No. 3 position.... after a 1-2 start to their partnership, Sutton and Armstrong won the next 12 in a row and 18 of their final 21 matches, including all three contests in the Big West Championships... all but four of her singles matches on the year was in straight sets, as she won three of four of those matches, including wins over No. 39 Arizona and No. 48 Saint Mary's.

PRIOR TO LBSU: Rated No. 455 in the ITF as was No. 3 for under 18's in Britain in 2006... played in the first division of U18's in Britain, ranking No. 1 in that age group... gained a WTA point at the Frinton $10,000 event in 2006... set the school-record in the 1500m as a freshman as well.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Ken and Vivienne Sutton... has aspirations of being a professional skiier, racing for her county in her spare time... plans on majoring in broadcast journalism.
