Hally Cohen enters her 10th season as a member of Head Coach Jenny Hilt-Costello's 49er coaching staff.
During her tenure with the 49ers, Cohen has been a significant part of the dramatic rise of the tennis program, including the school's first six conference titles, six NCAA Tournament appearances and first NCAA Tournament victory.
A native of El Paso, Texas, Cohen graduated from Purdue University in 1998 where she was a part of a Big Ten co-championship as a senior. As a freshman she compiled a record of 22-14 at No. 3 singles and was nominated for Freshman of the Year in the Big Ten Conference. She helped move the Boilermakers from 10th place in the Big Ten, to fourth place in just one season. She was team co-captain as a senior, during Purdue's regular season league co-championship.
Off the court, Cohen made the Dean's List every semester and was named to Academic All-Big 10 teams in each of her final three years.
Cohen also teaches at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club and is an improvisation actor in Hollywood. Hally resides in Santa Monica.
