Dallara hired as assistant women's tennis coach

The 49er record-holder for wins will stay on with the LBSU coaching staff.

Anais Dallara, following a stellar playing career as the winningest tennis player in Long Beach State history, is in her fifth year as the assistant coach.

During her four years as a player at LBSU, Dallara established new program records for most career wins (185), most singles wins (98) and most singles wins in a season (30 in 2012). She is also second on the doubles win list (87). She had a career high ITA national ranking of No. 101.

A four-time All-Big West selection, Dalara went 11-0 during her senior campaign and 21-1 in her final two seasons of league play. Equally impressive was her doubles play where she also earned conference honors.

In 2012, she became just the fourth player in program history to qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship Tournament. She also became the first LBSU player to reach the semifinals of the ITA Regional the same season.

Academically, Dallara was a four-time ITA National All-Academic honoree at Long Beach State and she earned her master's degree from Long Beach State in 2016.

Hailing from Valbonne, France, Dallara has an elite -4/6 French Federation women's tennis ranking.
