49ers go unbeaten in second day at Beach Tennis Winter Invitational

No. 38 Long Beach State won all 10 matches it played on Saturday.

Long Beach State (2010-11): A first-team All-Big West selection in both singles and doubles while playing at No. 1 in both for the entire season ... Earned first-team singles honor for the second year in a row, and has now been named All-Big West in singles three times, and twice in doubles ... One win under the single-season school record with 27 wins, going 27-10 on the season in singles ... Her .748 winning percentage ranks fourth all-time in school history ... Combined for 26 doubles wins in 2011, tied for the second-highest total in school history, joining Jessica Weeks and Sandra Rocha ... Her combined 53 wins were the most in school history ... Posted 18 wins with Deborah Armstrong and eight wins with Klaudia Malenovska in doubles ... Went 10-3 in singles in the fall, including a tournament championship at the Fullerton Invitational ... Also won two doubles titles in the fall, winning the Fullerton Invitational with Armstrong as well as the championship of the "Blue" flight of the Cal Invitational ...
