Long Beach, Calif. - No. 5 Long Beach State will play one final ranked opponent at home in the regular season, hosting No. 8 St. Mary's on Thursday at the LBSU Sand Courts. The match will begin at 1 p.m.
The Gaels enter Thursday's match with an unblemished 10-0 record, but are making their first trip outside of Northern California, as well as playing their first ranked opponent in 2014. As the 49ers, Long Beach State enters Thursday's dual with a 7-4 record and riding a three-match winning streak. Long Beach State also dropped three of their losses by a single point, 3-2.
