49ers To Host Cal State Bakersfield, LMU In Busy Week
Long Beach State will play four matches this week.

Long Beach, Calif. - The 7-1 49ers will host two more matches at the LBSU Sand Courts this week, hosting Cal State Bakersfield and LMU on Tuesday before heading to Irvine Valley College for two matches on Friday.
First up for The Beach is a round-robin on Tuesday with the Roadrunners and the Lions, as LMU returns to the LBSU Sand Courts and Cal State Bakersfield, a first-year program, faces Long Beach State for the first time.
Long Beach State will start the day at 11 a.m. against Cal State Bakersfield, and then after LMU plays the Roadrunners, will take on the Lions in the third match of the day.
Friday, the 49ers will play both Irvine Valley College and Hawai'i at IVC, with action beginning at 10:30. Matches will not be played in order on Friday, but both duals will be completed.
The sand volleyball courts are found on campus, located directly behind the baseball diamond past the Walter Pyramid. Fans can park in Lot 13 in front of the Walter Pyramid and make the short walk southeast to the courts. Admission is free.
