Long Beach, Calif. - The Long Beach State Softball team will hold tryouts for the 2013 season on Wednesday, September 25 for interested CSULB students from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the 49er Softball Complex.
Any interested participants must be enrolled full-time at CSULB (at least 12 unites) during the fall semester, and have a class schedule that would accommodate softball practice at 1:30 every weekday. Players must bring their own bat, glove and cleats as well as wear black pants and a t-shirt to the tryout.
In order to be permitted to try out for the team, potential student-athletes must complete the following:
- Fill out a tryout form to be obtained from the Long Beach State coaching staff
- Submit all required medical paperwork
- Freshman must qualify with the NCAA Eligibility Center
All paperwork must be signed, completed and returned by the tryout date, September 25. No exceptions will be made for incomplete paperwork.
