Rains Force Changes To Weekend Softball Schedule
All games at the LBSU Softball Complex have been moved one day forward.
Long Beach, Calif. - A forecast of heavy rains Friday has forced Long Beach State to reschedule the softball games planned for this weekend, moving Friday's scheduled games to Saturday, and Saturday's games to Sunday. There will be no games played Friday after the move.
Saturday's schedule is tentatively scheduled as follows. Long Beach State and No. 16 Utah will start the day's action at 9 a.m., followed by an 11:30 game between Long Beach State and CSU Bakersfield and concluding with a neutral game between the Utes and the Runners at 2 p.m.
Three games are also slated for Sunday as part of the move. Utah and CSU Bakersfield will start the day at 9 a.m., followed by a game between the Utes and Long Beach State at 11:30 a.m. and finally a contest between CSU Bakersfield and the Beach to close the weekend at 2 p.m.
Any additional changes regarding the weather will announced promptly on www.longbeachstate.com as well as on Twitter at @LBSUSoftball.
