Rosen sparked a three-run sixth inning rally with a two-run home run to lead the 49ers to the win in game one of a doubleheader against the Matadors.

The 49ers took the early lead scoring a run in the top of the first. Kimbrough, a freshman, singled up the middle driving in pinch runner Emily Gregorio. Hannah De Gaetano led off the inning with a walk, before Gregorio pinch ran, and Neal followed with a base hit to right field.

Game 2: Cal State Northridge 2, Long Beach State 1

Jessica Fridwall scored the winning run from second base in the bottom of the seventh on a 49er error pushing the Matadors to a win in the second game of the doubleheader.
