After three scoreless innings, the 49er offense got rolling in the fourth and fifth innings, bringing in five runs en route to a 5-1 victory over Cal State Bakersfield on the final day of the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament, hosted by UCLA.

Erin Jones-Wesley got the start for the third straight game, pitching four innings to get the win while giving up two hits and a run. Amanda Hansen got the save, pitching three scoreless innings.

Cal State Bakersfield scored one run in the top of the fourth and then the 49ers headed to the plate. Sarah Carrasco doubled to left center, bringing in Hannah De Gaetano and Cya Neal to put the 49ers up 2-1. With bases loaded, Brianna Stephan got a walk to first, which brought in Carrasco to score the third run of the inning.

In the fifth inning, Karli Sandoval hit a homerun, bringing in Emily Gregorio to give the Beach a 5-1 lead and the eventual win.

LBSU ended the weekend 2-1 and now head to Las Vegas, Nev. for the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic.
