Bridgette Pagano is in her first season as a member of the Long Beach State coaching staff. Pagano will serve as an undgraduate assistant after playing four seasons for the 49ers.
Pagano played a dual role for LBSU from 2007 to 2010 as a pitcher and an outfielder. She started her career with her best season as a freshman, earning Big West Freshman Pitcher of the Year honors and first-team All-Big West recognition after finishing with a 20-11 record with a career-high 100 strikeouts and a 1.65 ERA in 211.2 innings.
Pagano was named second-team All-Big West as a pitcher as a sophomore, while also earning Big West All-Academic honors. During her sophomore campaign, she finished with a 13-11 record on the mound with 87 strikeouts and a 2.39 ERA in 161.1 inning pitched.
As a junior and senior, Pagano saw a bulk of her playing time in the outfield where she combined to play in 57 games. She also made 27 pitching appearances during the two seasons finishing with a 3-5 record and one save.
During her four-year career, Pagano compiled a 36-27 record on the mound, while striking out 243 hitters and finishing with a 2.57 ERA. She also finished with 38 hits, three home runs, 22 RBI, and a .189 career batting average.
