 
Returning for the 2009 season to the Long Beach State dugout will be volunteer assistant Ralph Levy. This will mark the 20th year that he has been with the LBSU softball program. Levy's duties will include assisting head coach Kim Sowder with game preparation and management. Levy's association with the Long Beach State softball program began in 1984 under longtime former Head Coach Pete Manarino. Levy was Manarino's good friend and classmate at Pius X High School in Downey (Class of 1971). Levy recently retired from County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Social Services where he was employed for more than 30 years. Levy and his wife Delia reside in La Mirada. |
