Beach Rallies To Earn Split With CSUN

Hannah Cookson picks up four hits on the day including the game-winner in the second game.

Long Beach State (2017): Led the team with a .290 batting average over the course of the season ... On of two players to play in every game in 2017, starting 49 ... Started primarily in left field and batted throughout the lineup ... Second on the team with 35 hits, and tied for the team lead with three triples ... Also third on the team with seven doubles ... Finished the season with 11 multiple hit games, and had a 10-game hitting streak, both second on the team ... Singled as a pinch hitter in a win over No. 22 Notre Dame ... Went 2-for-3 with a run scored, 2 RBI and a triple against Weber State ... Went 2-for-3 with an RBI against Fresno State ... Had the first of three straight two-hit games against South Carolina ... Hit .416 in the four games of the Louisville Slugger Invitational ... Singled against Texas, starting a ten-game hitting streak ... Went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple against Lehigh, scoring three times to tie a team season-high ... Had three hits over a doubleheader against Loyola Marymount ...
