Cal State Fullerton snapped an 11-game winning streak for Long Beach State with an 8-0 five-inning win in the first game of a three-game series on the road in Fullerton. Shayna Kimbrough led the 49ers with two extra-base hits on the day.

Senior Erin Jones-Wesley had another excellent week of pitching, helping the 49ers to a sweep of Hawai'i, earning Big West Pitcher of the Week after picking up two more wins. The senior pitcher has now been honored 15 times in her career, a Big West record.
