49er women's soccer looks to break single-game attendance record on Saturday

The 49ers will be looking to break the single-game attendance record this Saturday.

LONG BEACH - The Long Beach State women's soccer team (11-5-0, 4-2-0 BWC) will be looking to break the program's single-game attendance record on Saturday, Oct. 20, when it hosts UC Irvine in a pivotal Big West game at George Allen Field. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.

UC Irvine (8-8-1, 4-1-1 BWC) is currently in second place in the conference standings and is just one point ahead of LBSU, which is tied for third with 12 points.

The game is also part of the Black & Blue Rivalry Series and is LBSU's Gold Game for soccer. Be sure to come out and support your 49ers as they continue their quest for their third-straight Big West Tournament title.
