LONG BEACH - Sophomore Lindsay Bullock and senior Hayley Bolt have been named to the Soccerbuzz All-West Region team. Bullock garnered second team honors, while Bolt earned third team recognition.

Bullock had an outstanding sophomore campaign, leading the team in both goals (10) and points (21). The Manhattan Beach, Calif., native became just the second 49er to accumulate double-digit goals since the program was reinstated in 1998. Bullock also earned Big West Conference Midfielder of the Year, NSCAA/adidas All-West Region and first-team all-league honors in 2008.

Bolt (Lakewood, Calif.), meanwhile, tallied nine goals and two assists to finish second on the team with 20 points. The four-time All-Big West selection etched her name in the 49er record books as she closed out her stellar four-year career at the top of the charts with 269 shot attempts, while finishing fourth in goals (28), assists (18) and points (74). This is the third straight year that Bolt has received all-region honors from Soccerbuzz.

Long Beach State concluded the 2008 season with a 14-5-4 overall record and an unblemished 7-0-1 mark in league play to claim its third consecutive Big West Conference regular season title. The 49ers also made their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
