NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --Senior Jessica Vincent leveled the score in the final two minutes at CSUN to push the game to overtime, but neither team found the net in extra time on the way to a 2-2 draw on the road Thursday night.

Long Beach State (8-6-3, 2-3-2 BWC) recorded 13 shots with two on target in 110 minutes of action, while CSUN (8-4-7, 4-1-3 BWC) notched 11 with five on goal. The Beach have now outshot their opponents in 11 games this season.

The Matadors got on the board first as Marissa Favela hit the back of the net for the sixth time this season in the 12th minute of play. The Matadors goal would remain the only score throughout the first half as the Beach went into halftime trailing by one.

Not long into the second frame, Long Beach State evened the score as junior midfielder Dana Fujikuni connected on a pass from senior Tori Bolden to register her first goal of the year in the 56th minute. The assist marked the fourth of the year for Bolden, who leads LBSU in helpers.

CSUN countered seven minutes later and regained its lead after Lindsay Kutscher notched her first goal of the season on a pass from Amanda Martin.

As regulation began to wind down, senior Jessica Vincent drew a penalty kick in the 89th minute of action. The product out of Torrance, Calif., nailed her penalty kick and tied the game.

With the game now tied, the two teams came back out onto the field for overtime, but neither team was able to hit the back of the net. Both teams recorded a pair of shots in the second overtime period, but to no avail.

Long Beach State goalkeeper Imani McDonald limited the Matadors to just two goals in 110 minutes as she recorded three saves on the night.

The Beach will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 29, when they host UC Davis at 2 p.m., on Senior Day at George Allen Field.
