SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- The Long Beach State women's golf team is tied for 14th place after two rounds of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. The 49ers shot a strong 306 in Tuesday's second round and currently are tied with Oregon State at 634. Number three ranked USC is in first place with a 587 followed by fourth-ranked Arizona State, which carded a 596.

Individually, Brenda Chhuor is tied for 46th place overall with a 12-over 156 (81-75). The best round of the day by a 49er came from true freshman Lindsey McAtee who shot a one-over 73. She stands tied for 75th place with a 165 (92-73). Tied for 53rd place is Kylie Kimura with a 159 (82-77). The overall leader is Arizona's Alison Walshe who has carded a three-over 141 (72-69).

The tournament concludes on Wednesday with 18-holes.
