Felicia Taverrite Selected As WGCA All-American Scholar
The sophomore participated in nine tournaments for the Beach last season.

Long Beach, Calif. - Sophomore Felicia Taverrite was named an All-American Scholar by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), honoring the top student-athletes in women’s collegiate golf.
Taverrite was one of just four student-athletes to receive the award from the Big West conference, recognizing women’s golfers with a cumulative GPA higher than 3.50. The sophomore from Temecula, Calif., is majoring in Marketing and holds a 3.65 GPA entering her junior year academically.
Last season, Taverrite participated in nine tournaments, with a high finish of 7th place at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational at Southern Utah. Taverrite had an average score of 77.81 on the year, and posted a pair of 70 stroke rounds, including a season best -2 under par at the Briar’s Creek Invitational in the final round.
