Finishes 11th At BYU-Dixie Classic Eloise Vicencio Finishes In 28th Place

ST. GEORGE, UT-- The Long Beach State women's golf team finished
in 11th place at the 2004 BYU Dixie Classic at Entrada at Snow Canyon
in St. George, UT. The Beach shot a three-round score of 978. UNLV,
which is ranked No. 21 in the nation, won the team title with a 12-over-par
876 over the three rounds of play. The University of San Francisco came
in second at 903.
Individually, freshman Eloise Vicencio finished in 28th place with a
237 (78-82-77). Senior Marie Louise Juul tied for 37th place with a
242 (76-82-84). UNLV's Suuny Oh won the individual title with a one-under-par
215 (70-72-73), while teammate Seema Sadekar came in second at 218 (73-73-72).
The 49ers will next be in action this weekend when they compete at the
Peg Barnard Invitational at Stanford on Saturday and Sunday at the Stanford
Golf Course.
