LONG BEACH - The Long Beach State women's basketball team has announced its 2010 summer camp dates. The 49ers will hold their Team Camp, which is open to all high school and club teams, from June 21-23. Each team is guaranteed six games and the camp will include clinic in the areas of shooting, passing, defense and post/perimeter skills. The Elite Position Camp is slated for June 24-25 and is for players looking to play at the next level. Skills specific to point guard, perimeter and post play will be taught as well as ball handling, passing, offensive moves, shooting and defense. The Youth Camp will also be held June 24-25 for kids in grades 3-7. Players of all skill levels are welcome. This camp is geared toward both the younger basketball player looking to learn the game or the more experienced player ready to improve their fundamental skills. Registration with full amount due for all camps is June 1.
