Beach Women’s Basketball Picked As Preseason Favorites

Long Beach State was the top vote getter from both the coaches and media.

Career: Enters her senior season at No. 18 on Long Beach State's all-time scoring list with 1,112 points ... Also ranks fourth in school history with 348 career free throws made.

2015-16 (Junior): Garnered first-team All-Big West accolades ... Started 28 of 33 games played ... Led the Beach with 13.5 points and 2.5 assists per outing, while ranking second on the squad with 5.2 rebounds per contest ... Shot 39.7 percent from the field and 74.7 percent from the free throw line ... Finished with a team-best 23 double-figure scoring games, including six with 20 or more points ... Went 10-for-14 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free throw line for a career-high 31 points vs. UNLV (Dec. 20) ... That performance earned her Beach Classic MVP and Big West Player of the Week honors ... Scored 23 points against Hawai'i on Jan. 7 ... Missed the last eight games of the year after suffering a season-ending injury vs. Cal Poly on Feb. 14 ... Reached double figures in scoring 13 times and had two 20-point performances ... Registered a season-high 22 points against USC (Nov. 21) ... Also went 8-for-13 from the field to finish with 20 points in a win over Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 31 ... Cracked the LBSU single-season record book in free throws made (134) and free throws attempted (187) ... Reached double digits in the points column 21 times ... Started a season-long nine-game double-figure scoring streak with 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting at San Francisco on Nov. 17 ...
