Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State will continue their final homestand as nomads, hosting UC San Diego Thursday evening at Corona Del Mar High School at 5 p.m. That is the first of three games scheduled for the 49ers this week.
The 49ers will start off the week with their final home non-conference game, taking on UC San Diego at Corona Del Mar, in what hopefully will be their last game outside of the Campus Pool. The 49ers beat the Tritons a year ago in San Diego 11-8, but this is the first meeting between the teams this season.
While the location of Long Beach State's final two games is still tentative, hope remains to return to the Campus Pool for the final two home games of the year, as the 49ers host UCLA at Noon on Saturday and Stanford at Noon on Sunday.
