No. 7 Beach Prepares For Doubleheader
Long Beach State will take on No. 4 Stanford and Long Beach City College on Saturday.
Long Beach, Calif. — No. 7 Long Beach State is back at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center on Saturday as the Beach competes in a doubleheader against No. 4 Stanford and Long Beach State.
This will be the last two home games for LBSU (11-10, 1-2) this season.
The Beach will start the day at noon against Stanford (13-3, 0-1) who is currently on a seven-game win streak. When LBSU and Stanford met in September, Stanford took a 9-6 win.
The Cardinal is led by Ben Hallock who leads the team with 44 goals. In goal, Stanford is anchored by Drew Holland who averages 10.7 saves per game.
After the team wraps up its game against Stanford, they will be back in the pool at 3 p.m. for its annual exhibition against Long Beach City College.
