No. 6 Long Beach State Heads To Los Angeles For MPSF Invitational
The Beach will open play against No. 12 Princeton
Long Beach, Calif. —No. 6 Long Beach State will be at USC this weekend as the Beach participates in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Invitational.
LBSU will open play against No. 12 Princeton Friday at 4:45 p.m. at USC’s Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
This is the first time the Beach is playing Princeton since 2013 when LBSU won, 11-7.
The Beach is slotted in Bracket C with No.3 Stanford, Princeton and No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer.
LBSU’s next opponent will be determined with the result of its match against Princeton. If the Beach defeats Princeton they will play at Uytengsu Aquatics Center Saturday at 12:45 p.m. If the team should lose they will play at noon at Loyola Marymount’s Burns Recreation Center.
This will be the team’s last tune-up before opening Golden Coast Conference play Sept. 30 against No. 5 Pacific.
