LONG BEACH, Calif.; - Four members of the 2009 Long Beach State men's water polo squad were selected All-Academic All-MPSF student-athletes as announced by Mountain Pacific Sports Federation executive director Al Beaird Saturday morning.

Seniors Justin Koeppen and Derek Wiebe-Bailey along with sophomores Matt Farrington and Jordan Koeppen were awarded the honor based on their cumulative GPAs acquired at Long Beach State.

This was the second straight season that Justin Koeppen has been selected to the MPSF All-Academic squad.

To make the All-Academic squad, student-athletes must have competed in at least fifty percent of the school's competition schedule and must own a cumulative 3.0 or better.
