Rascon and Snyder named to All- Academic Team

The 2011 men's water polo MPSF All- Academic team was announced featuring Nick Rascon and Barry Snyder from Long Beach State.
Aleksandar Petrovic named honorable mention All-MPSF

Aleksandar Petrovic was named to the All- MPSF as an honorable mention for the No. 9 Long Beach State 49ers. He scored 53 goals this season, averaging 2.04 goals per game.
Long Beach State drops season finale at Pacific

Long Beach State lost their final MPSF match of the year against Pacific 11-6 at Chris Kjeldsen Pool. The loss eliminated the 49ers from the conference tournament.
Playoff berth on line against Pacific

Long Beach State makes the road trip to Stockton, California with a berth in the MPSF Conference up for grabs. The 49ers, 1-6 in conference, can capture the final stop in the tournament by defeating the Tigers with an identical conference record.
