DeFalco, Ensing, Watten Represent Long Beach State in Volleyball Nations League Competition

LONG BEACH -- The last six weeks have been busy for Long Beach State's TJ DeFalco and Kyle Ensing. The pair, along with former LBSU All-American Dustin Watten, have been competing all over the world with the FIVB Volleyball Nations League.

The Beach trio helped lead USA to an 11-4 record, which included a pair of five-match winning streaks, as they headed into the Final Round (Pool B). The United States kicked off the Final Round (Pool B) with a 3-0 sweep of Poland, then dropped a 3-0 decision to Russia.

Team USA will next play in the VNL Semifinals against France on Saturday, July 7.

DeFalco, Ensing and Watten have all seen solid playing time on the court during the VNL this summer. See below for highlights on each player:

TJ DeFalco
• Has played in 14 of the team's 17 matches thus far
• Tied for the team lead with 15 blocks
• Second on the team with 129 serve receptions
• Fourth on the team with 72 kills
• Tied for fifth with six aces
• Fifth on the team with 16 digs

Kyle Ensing
• Worked his way into the starting lineup starting in three of the team's last four matches
• 12th on the team with 18 kills
• Posted three blocks thus far
• Notched two aces
• Tied for eighth with seven digs

Dustin Watten
• Has seen action in five matches at Libero
• Sixth on the team with 12 digs
• Helped USA earn a 3-0 sweep over Korea on June 2
