Voting for Off the Block Fan Choice Player of the Year begins Wednesday

LONG BEACH - Long Beach State sophomore outside hitter Taylor Crabb is one of 65 nominees for the Off the Block Men's Volleyball Fan Choice Player of the Year the website announced on Tuesday. Voting begins on Wednesday, May 23. The Fan Choice Player of the Year recognizes the best individual performances from NCAA Division I-II men's volleyball players during the season and gives volleyball fans from around the world the chance to determine who was the best player. The contest is a bracket-style seven-round tournament matching up the nation's best players against each other with the winner being determined through online voting on the Off the Block website, offtheblockblog.com. Crabb earned a No. 12 seed in the Matt Anderson Region and is matched up against USC's Henry Cassiday. First round voting begins on Wednesday. Every round will last one day with the polls closing at 8 p.m. (PT). The player with the most votes when the polls close will advance to the next round.
